Solid-state refrigeration is recommended for use inside USP <797> and USP <800> environments because it eliminates the two most prevalent sources of contamination found in compressor based system: metallic particulates and greases, oil, or other lubricating materials. Evolve significantly reduces installation costs because there is no need for costly renovation projects to exhaust the rejected air out of the cleanroom environment. In addition, the new guidelines restrict the use of fixed, pass-through refrigerators in the USP <800> environment as they can pull air from the uncontrolled external environment into the negative pressure environment leading to contamination. Evolve is the safe option for medical-grade solid-state refrigeration inside your cleanroom.

More Capacity. Same Footprint
The most common request that the Evolve team hears from compounding professionals is for more space, as most cleanrooms are cramped and space is at a premium. Another benefit of the solid-state refrigeration system is that the cooling system is much smaller than compressor dependent systems. The space saved in the cooling system can then be re-purposed into additional cold storage capacity. When compared to other ADA compliant undercounter refrigerators, Evolve has up to 25% more storage capacity with the same external dimensions.
