In the year 2000, MEDISCA Inc. began working towards its dream of providing the industry of pharmaceutical care with an unparalleled quality of service that will meet the day-to-day operational needs of compounding pharmacists all over North America.

With these goals in tow, the company assembled a team of practicing compounding pharmacists, formulation chemists, technical service support representatives and lab technicians who are dedicated to developing and maintaining an effective and responsive support system. Together they encompass a wide range of both theoretical and practical compounding experience with the following designated degrees:

MEDISCA Network Inc. was founded through reason and resoluteness, and today looks forward to serving its clientele with an even broader vision. We are in service to, not only the compounding pharmacy community, but the healthcare community as a whole. Our role is to maintain and improve the integrity, quality and diversity of pharmacological care through the promotion and support of pharmacy compounding. Most of all, we recognize that we are in service to the patient population, for which we are all a part of at one time or another.

As a service provider imparting our specialized knowledge and expertise, we bring people and resources together. We provide the means for improving the quality of pharmaceutical care through meaningful relationships:

• Supporting cutting-edge formulas, research and development, and technical support services for the compounding pharmacist
• Developing a knowledge-based communications network for the pharmacist and medical specialist
• Engaging in business practices that lead to the morally, ethically, legally, politically and clinically sound development of pharmaceutical compounding
• Providing both resources and consultation to secure the development of our membership’s business and marketing investments

Our Team
Our team consists of an array of experts made up of academia and practicing professionals within retail pharmacy, hospital and hospice care. Additionally, our team members are highly successful compounding pharmacists/owners, physicians, lab technicians, formulation chemists and Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) surveyors. Together, we encompass a wide range of both theoretical and practical compounding experience to promote excellence and expertise in the field of pharmacy compounding.

Our Technical Support Services Department consists of seasoned academics and highly skilled practicing professionals, whose common goal is to create customized formulas to meet patient specific need. Our staff members are equally skilled in both non-sterile and sterile formulations including numerous specialty niche markets. In addition many members of our team are responsible for creating our industry’s current standards of practice and serve as Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) surveyors.
