IV / Infusion - Technology, Supplies, Services Booth #11529
Low cost, portable, mechanical syringe infusion system using dynamic equilibrium and selectable rate flow control ability to aid in eliminating site reactions caused by pressure.
A new, revolutionary option for pharmacies, clinicians, and patients: a fully mechanical infusion pump + selectable rate flow control device offered for both subcutaneous and intravenous application.
INTRAVENOUS IV Controller
Designed for use with antibiotics, including Vancomycin, anti-infectives, patient-controlled analgesia, cardiac support drugs, 5FU drugs, KVO therapy, D5W, normal saline, lidocaine, COVID support treatments, blood pressure support.
Flow rates from KVO – 250 ml/hr.
SUBCUTANEOUS OneSett™ & Q-Controller™
Designed for the delivery of viscous fluids (viscosity ranked between 13-17 cP), including 20% immunoglobulin Hizentra®, Cuvitru® and Xembify®. Other viscosities can be custom-built.
Flow rates from 10 – 60 ml/hr/site (offered in 1-4 needle site configurations).
Designed for the delivery of 3cP 10% immunoglobulin solutions, including HyQvia®.
Flow rates from 10 – 300 ml/hr/site (offered in 1-2 needle site configurations).
The Insignis system delivers the performance, convenience, and accuracy of electronic systems but in a low cost, portable, mechanical design. The system is driven by a compact constant pressure 13.5 psi infusion pump.
It is the only system that can determine site performance with the ability to modify flow rates in real time (during the actual infusion) to minimize discomfort and infusion site reactions.
The Insignis needle set features a meticulously designed 26-gauge needle to achieve flowrate performance on par with a larger 24-gauge needle, with less needle insertion pain and fewer site complications.
75% lower cost and far fewer parts required for manufacturing and assembly than competitor infusion pumps. Inventory requirements (SKUs) are reduced by 95%; IHS offers 16 combinations as opposed to 640 offered by some systems on the market.
The Insignis system is delivered to patients in the fewest number of packages due to its minimal components. Everything beyond the luer disc is connected and preassembled in one bag to help eliminate handling mistakes and to improve sterility.
The high accuracy selectable rate flow control for both IV and SubQ eliminates the need for calculators, tables and charts – just set the flow rate and begin the infusion.

The Medi-Dose® Group, known for its innovative solid and liquid oral unit dose packaging systems, has always had deep roots---family roots. This is not surprising since Medi-Dose began as a small family business. Medi-Dose was founded in 1971 when Milton Braverman, a former pharmaceutical company Territory Manager, formed his own company.
While developing Medi-Dose, we were often asked for other products. "Hey… why don't you have... ?" "Yo, I need... Can you get it for me?" So, we started EPS®, Inc. We were asked about liquid packaging to complement our solid oral systems. So, we developed TampAlerT®. We were asked about IV preparation. So we developed a line of IV additive disposable accessories. Filters? Yes! Tapes & Labels? Done! Trays, totes and bins? You got it! Bags? Absolutely! And that is how the EPS product line grew to what it is today.
Medication packaged and dispensed in syringes, ampules, tubing, suppositories and odd shaped bottles often pose unique labeling challenges for pharmacists and nurses. Conventionally shaped labels often prove inadequate for adhering to irregular shapes. Additionally, the same vital labeling that's placed on the medication being dispensed needs to be recorded on the original medication bottle or package as well as the patient record.
MILT® Makes It Easy!
Medi-Dose Information labeling Technology
MILT® the dynamic new unit dose labeling software for the Medi-Dose® and EPS LiquidDose® packaging systems, offers innovative bar coding, increased security and enhanced medication identification awareness - all for a surprisingly affordable price. Using advanced technology, MILT® by Medi-Dose® makes it easy to achieve optimum accurate, protection and performance for all your solid and liquid unit dose syringe and ampule labeling needs.
The company's I.V. accessories are also highly successful. The firm sees them as a natural advancement of the initial Medi-Dose system. "In essence, I.V. dispensing is a highly specialized form of unit dose," observed Mr. Braverman. "It's the same idea-preparing and administering predetermined amounts of medication for one regular dose or application."
Sensitivity to pharmacy's increased emphasis on I.V. filtration led EPS, Inc. to expand its line of I.V. filters. Three disposable disc filters and two air-eliminating filters are now available. Ranging in pore size from 0.2 to 1.2 microns, the EPS I.V. filters were designed for sterilization, bacterial retention, and particulate removal. The 1.2-micron units are ideal for filtering lipids and removing fungi and particulates without compromising emulsions.
